Southwest Automated Security is the only access control distributor in Texas that is an authorized FAAC repair center.

If you are in need of having equipment repaired you will need to obtain an RMA number. You can either click the link below to download the form, fill it out and fax it to our office or give us a call and we’ll send it to you. All items coming in for repair or warranty must have the RMA number clearly written on the outside of the box. If the RMA number isn’t on the product, it will be refused.

Items damaged during shipping will be refunded in accordance with the shippers refund policy. Please call UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877) before opening the package. Please also review UPS Terms & Conditions for More Information.

Products Southwest Automated Security are either warranted directly by the manufacturer or warranted thru us. Return of items that are warranted by its prospective manufacture will be governed by that manufacture’s policy. Items that are warranted thru Southwest Automated Security (after receiving a return authorization number) are subject to the following return shipping options.

  1. Return the defective part via either insured regular US mail or insured UPS ground.
  2. Return the defective part using any priority 1, 2 or 3 day service you choose and we will expedite the repair/replacement and return the part using the same shipper and the same account that the part was shipped to us with.

Shipping cost will not be reimbursed under this option.
Our office must receive all items before replacement parts can be shipped. If the customer would like a replacement part shipped prior to us receiving the defective part, the customer must pay full price plus shipping for the replacement part and receive a refund only if the part is found to be defective. Otherwise the part will be shipped back to the customer as a spare.There will be a charge for returning parts that are shipped to us without a return authorization number or additional parts that are shipped with parts that have been authorized for return.

Advanced replacement returns Credit Policy
Credit to be issued upon return and inspection of RGA products(s). RGA product returns received after 30 days from the date of this invoice may be subject to restocking charges of 15%. Product claimed as defective will be subject to restocking charges of 15% if no problem is found when evaluated by technician.If installer or user error caused the problem no direct will be given for returned part.
