ABOUT
TYPE UF-B UNDERGROUND CABLE UF-B Underground
Feeder Cable's construction provides solid or stranded Type THHN/THWN
conductors laid parallel with or without an uninsulated grounding
conductor. An outer jacket of tough polyvinyl chloride (PVC), applied
directly over the assembled conductors, provides protection against
mechanical damage, moisture, chemicals and corosion. |

APPLICATIONS:
Permitted for use underground including direct burial in earth as
Feeder or Branch Circuit Cable where provided with overcurrent protection
For use in interior wiring in wet, dry or corrosive locations under
the recognized wiring methods of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Accaptable to be installed as a Non-Metalic Sheathed Cable in accordance
with NEC Article 340.10(4)
Acceptable for use in accordance with NEC Articles 300.4(B) and 340
FUTURES:
Ul listed as type UF-B for direct burial E25682
Grease and chemical resisitant conductors
Crush resistant
Moisture, chemical and sunlight resistant jacket
Conductors rated 90°C
The amplicity shall be that of 60°C conductors and comply with
NEC section 300.15 CONSTRUCTION:
Conductors: Solid (per ASTM B-3) or stranded soft annealed uncoated
copper (per ASTM B-8)
Insulation: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) conpound to thickness required
by Underwriters Laboratories for Type THHN 90°C rated

3 Conductors: Black, White, Red
Conductor Jacket: Heat stabilized nylon
Grounding Conductor: Uninsulated, soft annealed solid
Assembly: Individual Type THHN/THWN conductors are laid parallel with
