Keri's
KTA Series of Time and Attendance Terminals integrate
with the PXL-250/500 Tiger Controller to provide the customer
Integrated Access Control and Time/Attendance functionality
on a single RS-485 network. The Doors software for access
control contains some easy to use reports for basic T/A reporting,
and by using Keri's export.exe event file export utility,
more detailed reports, job cost accounting and payroll functions
can be implemented by using virtually any 3rd party T/A software
partner, including Keri's pre-qualified partners.
Each terminal, which contains a PXL-500 Tiger Controller
(and optional SB-593 Satellite Expansion Board), can also
function as an access controller, and is housed in an attractive
powder coated aluminum enclosure that can include a surface-mounted
MS-3000 or P-300H Proximity Reader (HID-compatible version).
If customers wish to use the access system's readers instead
of a terminal-mounted reader, any reader placed near a door
can be connected to the Terminal and designated as an "in"
or "out" reader for time/attendance reporting.
The terminal's front surface also has an LCD Display to
give users a visual confirmation of what time they "clocked
in" or "clocked out." By using the filtering
capability in the export.exe utility, customers can import
the access system data (typically "in" and "out"
access events at the T/A terminals, along with any keypad-generated
job costing events) into their T/A-Payroll software package
for processing.
