2GIG LTE cell radio module brings longer-life cellular connectivity and simple installation to 2GIG GC2 systems. Dealers can save time and reduce costs with cost efficient and easy-to-install cell radio modules. For the end-users 2GIG LTE radios provide better support for cellular connectivity of smart home devices while improving remote control experiences.

The 2GIG-LTEV1-A-GC2 is a 4G LTE radio for the Verizon network to work with Alarm.com. This new radio transfers both data and two-way voice over Verizon’s 100% LTE network and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) technology. To enable the 2GIG-LTEV1-A-GC2 radio, the GC2 Panel requires Firmware version 1.19.4 or newer and the GC2e Panel requires Firmware 1.24 or newer.
