Some FAAC barrier gate operators feature beams that are so high that smaller vehicles are able to pass under them. Prevent unwanted access through checkpoints with the skirted boom kit.
The skirts are made from a series of interlocking jointed metal pieces that form a framework which can be attached to the bottom of a metal or wood beam arm. When the beam raises, the pieces fold against the arm to allow traffic to pass through. The skirts are lightweight and do not tax the gate motor more than the operator would normally handle.
This kit includes skirts and the hardware necessary to attach the beam to the skirt.
Note: These skirts may also be used to retrofit older beams but could require different compression springs for the older model gate operator. Please contact us for additional information. For proper balancing of the arm, the spring and pump size must be correct.
